Plastic Free July

The month may be half over, but it's never to late to join the more than 120 million participants in 177 countries that are making a difference! Every day you choose to make an effort to refuse single-use plastics you are helping to be part of the solution to plastic pollution.

Like all habit changes in life, sometimes you need a little guidance and inspiration to move from idea to action. To help you along on your journey to lead a more sustainable lifestyle, we would like to introduce you to plasticfreejuly.org.

The Plastic Free July campaign is led by a dedicated group of environmentally minded individuals at the registered nonprofit organization the Plastic Free Foundation. Based in Australia, their mission of seeing a world free of plastic waste has grown to be one of the most influential environmental campaigns on our planet.

Being a mission based company ourselves, we love that one of the core values that guide the Plastic Free Foundation Mission is a concept that we live by each and every day here at Earth Friendly Straws: The belief that small changes add up to a big difference!

We encourage you to visit their site to learn more about how you can get involved, help share the great educational materials they have created and sign up to take the Plastic Free July challenge. The first step of any habit change is often the hardest, however your efforts are worth it and we are all here to help support you 💚
